Oven Fries

I got this one from Our Recipe Box. Easy, tasty, and a healthy alternative to actually frying them up! I L-O-V-E potatoes, so I loved these :-)!


Russet or red potatoes
Seasoning Salt
Montreal Steak Seasoning (I used Pappy's seasoning that we had on hand)
Butter or olive oil (I used olive oil)

Microwave potatoes (with skins on) until tender when poked with a fork. (I let mine cook too long and then they fell apart when I cut them, so watch them)
Cut potatoes into long strips. Place in baking dish.
Drizzle olive oil or melted butter over potatoes. Sprinkle with seasonings.
Broil or bake until potatoes are warm and crispy. (I baked at 425 degrees for 10 minutes and then broiled for 3-4 minutes)
Serve with fry sauce or ketchup.
